We attended the Sunshine Sporthorse sponsored USDF/DSHB qualifier on September 16th held at Pennock Point , Reddick, Fl. We decided to take Waverly , our 3 yr old Wicked Court Jester x zauberelle filly . This was her first outing since arriving here at Cottage Farm as a 5 month old weanling and she was so well behaved She received : 77.7% in fillies of 2003 78.0% sporthorse pony 78.6% 3 yr old fillies materiale The materiale was the first time she had ever been ridden in a ring with other horses and she was perfect ! Professional photos will be posted soon on her page. |

July/August
"Summer was pretty quiet." We always love to hear from happy customers and receive pics of how our proteges are doing. Dawn Buster from Kansa City, Missouri ,sent us an email to let us know how Evans Moonstruck was doing in his new home. Moonie is a fabulous small welsh "B" bred by Mt. Dragon Welsh in Oregon. He came to us to be sold and receive some more training, he was the neatest pony ever. I am so glad he found the perfect home with the Buster's and especially 6 yr old trey who was riding him all by him self by the second lesson they took together. Way to go Trey and Moonie :-) |
May/June
Congratulations to friend and pupil Mary Barber on gaining her last score for her silver medal. Mary earned her scores with her horses Lacoaste and Fereska Figaro.
All our foals are here and we love them all. Fernview Tigerlily is being retained and both colts are offered for sale. Click here to see foals.

March/April
March was pretty quiet. Jacobs Hawk went to his first dressage show , held at the Florida Horse Park. I would have preferred to take him to a local schooling show first rather than a 4 ring recognized but his owner was available to watch him that weekend so off we went. Thank goodness we just entered Intro first as there were many distractions for a young stallion. Even though we wobbled around he managed to get a first place. Training 1 was a little smoother and we managed a second with a 62%. Lakekland Dressage Association invited me to do a clinic at the end of the month in Plant city. The clinic went very well and hopefully everybody that attended was able to take away a bit more knowledge that they can incorporate into their daily training. |
| April was a little busier with International Polo at The villages, horse shows and a foal due. On the 8th Sally went to Jacksonville Equestrian Center with a couple of pupils for a recognized show. Sally rode Mary Barbers horse, Fereska Figaro in Third and Fouth level tests. Having only ridden Figgy a few times she managed to pull off a 2nd place in Third 1 and a First place in Four 1. A week a so later a beautiful Champion ribbon arrived in the mail as Sally and Figgy were high score for the weekend at Fouth level. Good job Figgy! After much anticipation our first Fernview foal arrived on April 30th. Our beautiful filly ,Fernview TigerLily (pending) arrived at the reasonable hour of 8.30pm. See her details on Foals 2006. | |

Jan/Feb
The first two months have been a whilrwind of activity. We have added two more stalls to keep up with the influx of horses and ponies. We went on a super trip with The Villages polo team to Barbados. The rain stopped a lot of the games but we made some super friends and Sally will hopefully be travelling back there to visit with some dressage riders she met. |

We added to our "collection" of equines with First Light , a 7 yr old, 16.2 grey Oldenburg mare becoming part of the family. We have alot of work to do but hopefully Sally and "Lilly" will be showing by the summer. |

Sally had the pleasure of riding with author, clinician and Judge, Max Gahwyler at a clinic held by local dressage group, STRIDE. Dr Max is a delight and always full of helpful excercises. Sally rode Virginia Cardenas's 4 yr old New Forest stallion, Jacob's Hawk . Hawk came to Cottage Farm to be broken and this was his first trip out. He was a very good boy even when seeing another stallion (his reflection) in the mirrors LOL! |
